The National Graduate Research Conference is an event organized jointly by the Graduate Schools of all the state universities of Thailand. These conferences were launched around 1999 upon the initiative of the Council of the Graduate Studies Administrators of Public Universities (CGAU), the representative body for graduate level education at all state and autonomous universities in Thailand. Its objectives are:
1. To enhance the research environment and provide students, faculty, and different disciplines with an opportunity to exchange research results and data with each other and across universities and diverse research networks.
2. To improve the quality of research in doctoral and master’s dissertations, mini theses and independent study products by graduate students.
3. To disseminate research results in order to benefit and support local and national development.
